What people ask us most before starting hearago.
01How many phones do we need?
Two. The first stays on the table: it runs the game and shows the QR codes, but never plays music. The second scans the QR code and plays the track. It can be a different phone every turn.
02Do we need to install an app?
No. hearago opens in any recent browser, with no account. You can add it to your home screen to open it like an app. There are no iPhone or Android apps yet.
03Which music services work?
Spotify, Deezer and Tidal. The QR code opens the track in the service chosen during setup, and the music plays on the DJ’s phone. hearago doesn’t stream any music and isn’t affiliated with any of these services.
04How many people can play?
Two to six teams, with as many players as you like in each. With two people, each of you is a team.
05Do we need to know the years?
No. You only need to put the track in the right order compared with the ones in your timeline.
06How long does a game last?
It depends on the target, which goes from 2 to 12 points, and on the number of teams. With no target, you stop whenever you like at the end of a turn.
07Is it free?
Yes, with no account and no ads.
08Does it work offline?
Once loaded, the game opens even without a connection. The DJ’s phone needs one to play the music.
