The questions people ask before their first game
Hearago moves quickly once the music starts. Here is what is worth knowing before you put a phone in the middle of the table.
01How many phones do we need?
Two are enough. One screen stays on the table and runs the game. Another belongs to the DJ, who scans the QR code and starts the song. A different phone can take over the DJ role each turn.
02Do I need to install an app?
No. The Web version runs in a modern browser. Native iOS and Android apps are planned, but they are not available yet.
03How many people can play?
Hearago supports two to six teams. With two players, each person can be a team. With a large group, put several players on each team to keep turns moving.
04Does Hearago play the music?
No. The QR code opens the song in the music service selected by the DJ. Hearago does not host music and is not affiliated with any streaming platform.
05Do I need to know the exact release years?
No, and that is what keeps the game approachable. You only need to place the song in the correct order relative to the cards already on your timeline.
06How long does a game take?
Most games take 25 to 45 minutes, depending on the number of teams, the target score and your group’s ability to let one spectacularly wrong answer pass without a ten-minute debate.
